I've been feeding http://www.queenofwands.net/ to people that are bored, lately. There's only 18 months of backstory, so it's not agonizing to catch up on.

I second this recommendation. In fact, I was thinking of recommending this myself, having recently gotten hooked.

Also amusing to you, perhaps, is usr/bin/w00t/ (http://www.w00t-comic.net).

And you have to have read Flem Comics (http://www.flemcomics.com/), yes?

But there isn't anything to read online. I find it very boring and I avoid it as much as possible.

www.literotica.com

It's an 18+ site and the ad banners will get you fired, but it is pop-up free and doesn't invade your computer with pics. It's erotic literature, and some of it ain't bad. Ok, some of it is bad on many, many levels, but there is a TON of stuff there - something for everyone.

Short story Mercy is online at http://www.infinityplus.co.uk/stories/mercy.htm

I got to meet and get to know this guy while I was up in Portland, ME for the first half of 2003. Very cool and a great writer.
