Just installed the latest client - wow, does this make formatting a hell of a lot easier than the stripped-down barebones client from 2 yrs ago.

Anyways, my fortune cookie from lunch:

Struggle as hard as you can for whatever you believe in.

You left out the standard phrase that follows most fortune cookie phrases.

I'll have to check out the new Semagic client.. last time I tried the "new" version (I forget which revision), it seemed a bit clunky. I went back to the barebones version. Old habits die hard. :)

I think I picked that up from one of the guys I worked with in PA. They were, uh, rural.

I can see that, heh.

As an afterthought: near my apartment, there's a flashing sign that displays a new quote or two each day. The same quotes rotate every week, Sun-Sat. Yesterday's was "When all else fails, use persistence." I rather like that one.

My favorite, though, by far: "Raising teenagers is like nailing Jello to a tree."

The new Semagic client is a win for me, because it works with iTunes to add the music playing to the posted entries. Kind of. At least well enough for most purposes.

the one you got is a pretty good motto.

my favorite fortune cookie was:
"an exciting event is coming your way"

Thank you! It's from the Twisted Mego Theatre... the strips that were put in the toy pricing guide, Toyfare. They have all the strips in three collection books (http://shop.store.yahoo.com/wizarduniverse/twtoth.html) now. :D Hilarious stuff! :}
