In amongst the hassle of buying a house, there's been a bit of a fiduciary monkey wrench, and I was hoping that I could pick the brains of a financial law type about it. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

emzebel is a lawyer, though I don't know her area of expertise.

Andrew (aka diamondbankman1) on my friendslist is a banking/finance guy who also does some real estate work, and I seem to remember that someone in our circle of friends does mortgage processing- think it's Miss Morte but am not positive. Don't know if any of that's helpful to you, but those are all the resources I can come up with off the top of my head.
