I propose a taste test: Pepsi, Coke Classic, C2, and PE, to see if anyone can get tell 'em all apart. I bet that the only one people guess correctly every time is "real" Pepsi.

I like C2 for the precise reason I don't like Pepsi. In the most sugary to least sugary order, it goes C2 - Coke Classic - Pepsi Edge - Pepsi, except I don't know how the middle two compare yet. But when I saw rhe PE commercials, I commented that it would probably taste like Coke.

However, gimme an Izze (http://www.izzeco.com/) over any of these any day.

I'll take that challenge when next we meet. I'm a Pepsi freak, P likes coke. He took a swig of the C2 that I was enjoying and I thought he was going to either spew or flatline on the spot. I can definitely tell the difference- Coke has a slightly more sharp flavor and aftertaste, Pepsi is more aggressively sweet and doesn't have the same bite to it.

I haven't tried Edge yet, but I'm sure there's a difference.

Aside from the Diet/Regular Coke and Pepsi taste, EVERYTHING they do tastes nearly exactly the same. How do you think they are about equal in popularity? If one tasted better than the other, the scale would tip, the economy would become even MORE messed up, and life as we know it would be gone for good.
