"Full Warranty."

That term seems to imply the replacement of all non-consumable basic components, as supplied by the manufacturer at time of purchase, doesn't it?

"Oh, no it don't, dawg. Y'all gots to get that shit outta yo head."

Guess whose "Full Warranty" doesn't cover the factory sunroof or most of his stock suspension parts?

That's right, I'm probably gonna be out a couple thousand fucking dollars ON TOP of the cost of the "warranty" I bought with my car because both of the above bits wore out and/or broke under normal use, while still under the warranty period.

Penn Warranty Company, you have been targeted and locked on. Your ass is mine. No lube. Geico tried to fuck me and failed. Progressive tried to fuck me and failed. FedEx is trying to fuck me, and they will fail.

PWC, you will fail. Nobody fucks me.

i'm hoping that the shop can at least get the friggin' surnroof -closed.- it's been open for 2 weeks with a plastic bag taped over it.

i can live without the suspension work.

maybe this is the world's un-subtle hint that maybe i -should- trade Froederick in on something else once he's paid off in Feb *sigh* goddammit. i hope the people thinking about hiring me to do web dev go with it, i could use the cash.

"It's going to take three to four hours to get your sunroof closed." (NOTE: Not "repaired," "closed."

So, at least they were bright enough to not take my tape job off. Of course, this is the one day that Kim is v. late getting home (no idea where she is), so I won't be going to pick it up until Friday or Saturday, at this point.

[insert icon of Rafe's head exploding in violent frustration here]

What further frosts my nads is the fact that the goddamn dealership DOESN'T HAVE THE PARTS TO REPAIR EITHER PROBLEM ANYWAY. That's right, I made this appointment almost two weeks ago, and they don't have ANY of the fucking parts on hand. Even if the work -had- been covered by insurance, it couldn't have gotten done today.

I am probably not going to be very civil when I pick it up. Not to the receptionist I spoke with, but I -am- going to ask for the service manager and give him a thorough dressing-down.

Turkey Day, indeed.

Oh, how nice. . . it's 5:10pm, and the frigging mailman finally showed up. Any bets as to whether or not the December MAXIM will be delivered on time this month? No takers, huh? I didn't think so.
