Fearless Freak's Forecast

"Hurricane Ivan will reach Category 5 strength on the Saffir-Simpson scale before making landfall near the western end of Cuba, where it will deflect on a more northwesterly track before beating the living shit out of the Florida panhandle and the Gulf Coasts of Alabama and Mississippi."

You heard it here first, kids. I am -not- a professional, of course, but I want to see how well my guess-of-the-moment stacks up against those who are.

And, because I trust my judgement as much as I do theirs, I'm buying some goddamned plywood and contemplating hauling my ass to Atlanta if need be.

Like it caught me fucking its dog, apparently.

Actually, I'm enjoying it. I like wild, non-lethal-to-me weather.

That'd be [livejournal.com profile] smaugchow. He thinks it's actually a Fantasy Football victory dance, but he's got no rhythm.

Move to Florida get hit by 3 huricains in a row. Somehow I do not think it's all bad. Its not like you moved to California and had three 7 on the rictor scale Earthquakes in a row. So it could be worse.

You know....you can always come and camp out at casa de Feline in DC ;) The chances of us actually getting hit by anything other than another terror alert are pretty darn slim. ;)

As I keep telling my mom, it's the price you pay for living on the Gulf Coast.

Anyway, there's danger EVERYwhere. You just have to choose your battles. I'll take a hurrican any day over the fault line I currently live on. *sigh*
