. . . have spammers start using -your- email address to send shit, so you get a ton of bogus Delivery Failure Notices.

Fuckholes.

Yeah, I got some of those not too long ago. I removed my email from the domain for about three days, and then I was gtg again. Haven't had a problem since.

Of course, I rarely use that address now...

Yeah, it's called getting joe-jobbed, and it happens a lot, and it's really annoying. Many people end up /dev/nulling their bounce messages because of it (I know I get at least 200 a day because it happens to RavenBlack a lot and I manage his mailserver), and that's horrible for diagnosing mail failure problems.

Spammers don't care who they annoy or how much of other people's resources they steal. Something terrible needs to happen to the lot of them. Something less terrible but at least wrist-smacky needs to happen to people who buy spam-advertised products. Do Not Support The Evil.

Yeah, this royally pisses me off. Is there any solution aside from shutting down your e-mail account?? Rafe, I figure you'll know/find a solution if anybody will, wirehead that you are. ;)
