Sorry for the abrupt disappearance yesterday - our cable went out around 2pm, and didn't come back online until sometime during an extremely pleasant evening out with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
baobh, her beau, Thomas (brute_force) and their artist companion Lindsey, wherein we supped and drank at Tampa Bay Brew Co. (and stole some coasters), adjourned to their inconveniently partially-electrified hotel, where L sold a few of her drawings to K, backrubs and wine were bandied about, and T's leatherwork was admired.
Friday night featured a windswept dose of culture, courtesy of Jobsite Theatre withnetgoth, critus and frith_lord, and it was a darn entertaining show. We'll definitely be seeing more of that sort of thing. :-)
Yesterday's hunkering festivities weren't terribly thrilling.
Talked to Sil & Bob after swinging by to check in ondarthmordred and animethecat, and they're still without power, and, as of probably right about now, just getting off their boat in Miami. Provisions, in the wake of doing laps around Key West yesterday, were beginning to run low - apparently stores of sugar and ketchup were tapped out. They should be home this afternoon.
Plans are currently to have the aforementioned hordes over for dinner and relaxing at our house this evening, since we've got power and all that good stuff.
