Wedding was nice.
However, my camera ate the pictures.

deviathan was, as expected, lovely. Finally meeting my first game-made friends (selkiesiren and geekwuffie) was also damn spiffy. Particulars later (or just check his LJ).
Of course, the world doesn't end just because I stop bitching about it.
NoLa: All our friends are alive and accounted for. None of our government is. You think I'm making this shit up? Here is a press release by the fucking -senator- calling El Shrubbo a motherfucker for dicking over the city and citizens, and staging a photo op at the expense of saving or helping people.

And, of course, the long-lasting concerns sowed by the death of Chief Justice Rehnquist... a man who, had we thrown a big party in 2001, could have walked to the house where I was staying, because it was only three blocks away.
