jabber brought this little tidbit about the 2004 election to my attention, and at this point, all I can really say to it now is:

So, I'm the sucker who's on call for the helpdesk this week.

What have I learned?

a) I have no idea how to use a camera phone.
b) This particular Motorola has a maximum memory capacity of about a hundred text page messages.
c) Five-minute intervals for server alerts to be rebroadcast can fill up said memory space in thirty hours.
d) Of 135 pages received thus far, I could do something meaningful for about five of them.
e) I'll be sleeping in the living room with the phone underneath me in order to let K get a decent night's sleep tonight.
f) You will discover that the VPN password you've been set up with works only after the IT guy who set it up gets on a weeklong cruise.
g) Flat Perrier tastes like finely-ground ass.
h) All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
