My "steampunk" rant, reposted in the "blog for a beer" section at Fantasy Magazine (http://www.darkfantasy.org/fantasy/?p=309), has won me $10 in beer money. I am contractually obligated to buy beer with it. *hand*staple*forehead*

The bit of flash fiction I had published at flashquake.org early this year (Volume 6, Issue 2, Winter 2006-2007) is among their nominees for the 2007 Pushcart Prize. Those more informed than I assure me this is something of a big deal.
