Introduced by:        There's plenty of blame to go around for those who nagged me onto here.
Can't stand:            Both "shoot on sigt" candidates seem to have either left, or been banned. . . not that I had anything to do with it in either case.
Bans:                      None.  I think I've only deleted a half-dozen comments, ever.
Want to meet:        Impossible to pick a "most" from that list, but the top cluster includes (alphabetically) [livejournal.com profile] delicarose, [livejournal.com profile] deviathan, [livejournal.com profile] firinne, [livejournal.com profile] geeki, [livejournal.com profile] thefeline, [livejournal.com profile] vixenchyld and [livejournal.com profile] whomajigi.  Yes, they're all female.  The only unmet dudes on my flist are [livejournal.com profile] jabber and [livejournal.com profile] deansavatar.
Close to flist?          For the most part, yeah.  A handful of semi-strangers on there, but they're not boring.  The vast majority are RL-friendly types.
Schizophrenic?        Just two, and the other one is either a bad joke or a troll, depending on whether you're in on it or not. ;-)

Yes'm. It's a matter of finding time and money and cheap airfare. . . or a winning lottery ticket, yanno?

That's one of the things that doesn't have me too worried about wheter we win C11 this year or not - assuming I/we can afford to get to SD, there's the chance to finally meet you & [livejournal.com profile] vixenchyld in person after all this time.

You two are among the longest-running online friends I've yet to meet, but the reigning champeens are my buddies Harvey, Laszlo, and Ophelia, who are at eleven years and counting.

Deb, a good friend of mine, is to settle in late October on a house she bought in Tampa and Hel's mentioned that you're therabouts. With this new house comes an open invite to invade Florida whenever. Of course, Deb is chompin' the bit meet Hel, (apparently this bunny ranchin' project of ours is pissin' off the natives in all directions! ) though I'd be inclined to wait 'til after hurricane season. Between those and a volcano, what's next. . . swarms of winged monkeys?

you know not of the evil you speak. . . we're doing Wizard of Oz here at the office, and the prospect of having flying monkey minions is making [livejournal.com profile] angel_renewed go *SQEEEEEE!* with malevolent delight.

but, yeah, it'd be damn spiffy if y'all came down. early december? early spring? convergence 11? *g*

Let's see how the financial scythes work out. I have some substantial debts to pay off, and Dean is evaluating employment prospects; I'm leaning toward early spring. If C11 takes the bid, we may hold off til then, but at the same time, that would actually distract from us actually hanging out because there would be so many other people to hang out with.
