The winning bid to host Convergence 11 is : San Diego, California.

Out of a total of 517 votes, San Diego took 303 and Tampa took 188.

Congratulations to the San Diego committee.

Hopefully, finances will allow both K & I to attend . . . there are a couple of you freaks who I've not yet met, and who were all about the SD bid winning so that can be rectified.

The SD committee put a ton of work into their bid, and hopefully, that will translate into a good event.

C12: Tampa - you heard it here. . . . far, far too early. ;-)

It really sucks... Tampa worked out so much better for me. I don't know how possible SD will be. I'm going to try to make it, but bah, it really does suck. More expensive... not the best dates... blah. People suck. At least I hope what I vote for on the 2nd wins. ^_~

Very, very disappointed. Tampa's bid was better and the dates rocked. Even tho SD is an hour away from me, their dates are crap, and I will prolly only get to go for Saturday. :(

But...C12 in Tampa gives me something to look forward to! :D
