Kudos to
netgoth for Doing The Right Thing For Herself. *hugs*
Props to
angel_renewed for a kickass take on the Presidential election.
I'm starting jogging again tomorrow morning. It's amazing what good nine and a half hours of sleep will do for a guy.
I'm going to vote tomorrow. I'm going to have my passport, my voter registration card, and a crowbar in hand, in case any asshat tries to disenfranchise me, I'm going to try my damnest to decapitate them.
Props to

As I'm fond of saying, "If you don't vote, you don't get to b**ch!"

[gets the pompoms and does a little "go vote dammit" cheer, ending in "Yaaaaaaaay Rafe!]

I'm all set. Got the marriage license, the passport, the state ID card, my old registration card, the emergency phone numbers from moveon.org and I'm ready to pillage, erm, vote.
(my local registration asshats couldn't seem to manage to correctly process my name change on two separate occasions. nice...)

i did get a handwritten note in today's mail, indicating their confusion that i tried to register as a member of the Wild Turkey Party, since it's not recognized in this state. . . . yet.

NJ is largely Democratic so I don't think it was necessarily dirty pool that they lost two registrations, I think they're just incompetent. However, if they try to slap me with a provisional ballot you're gonna hear me screaming all the way in FL.
