I guess The Wang State did not feel the same way. I am not really surprised that Bush won here.. I am surprised with how many people voted against him though. I was one of 11,583 people in my county that voted for Kerry.
I was looking the cnn, they have a page (http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/states/FL/P/00/index.html) that lets you look at the number of votes per county.. So much pink here..

I think I want a "Blue State, Blue Voter" thingy for my LJ as a counterpoint to my friends in red.

I was in DC. Mom was flying out of Logan and Dad was flying out of Dulles on 09/11/2001. I had a day of paranoia that both parents were dead. A friend of mine that works at the Pentagon had just walked out of one of the offices that disappeared when the plane hit. He was left standing in a hallway looking at a big hole, eighteen inches from being toast.
They shut down the Beltway. I couldn't go home for hours.
We have signs above all the highways here that say: REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY with the TIPS line.
Fuck you, neo-Orwellian state. I voted for Kerry.
