In October, I gave blood, and learned that a) my blood pressure was higher than I liked (126/80), and b) my cholesterol was high, period (242, total, no LDL/HDL breakdown).

I gave blood again today.  My BP is 120/68.  I get my cholesterol results Friday or Saturday.

The scale's gone from 181 to 174.

Give blood.  It doesn't just help the person who gets it.
