Speaking of bombing Tampa - the rest of you locals, The asshat In Chief is going to be fucking up rush hour traffic from the Airport to the Convention Center and back from around 4:00-7:00 tomorrow night. Props to ross_winn for the heads up on that (doesn't fuck with me, but it'll really screw up K's commute.

Ok, you guys gotta deal with Dubya for one day...

We have bridge closures, down town road closures (and I've got a hubby who works downtown and is prone to road rage) and out of town idiots trying to drive figure out the "on crack" layout of J-ville in the drizzling rain... and the madness is going to go on at least through Monday. All because idiots in shoulder pads and tight pants are going to be chasing each other up and down a field on Sunday. Gooooo Superbowl. (Please go... out of my city, please?)

In an efort to be helpful, the bridges to Harbour Island are closed...both of them...for the duration of the Shrub's stay at the Convention Center. OK. Sucks to live on Harbour Island. Those of us who work there are getting to leave work early to avoid the stupidity. Is it REALLY necessary he come visit?
