I've already gotten a polite "No thanks."
Nothing like immediate. . . uh, "gratification" isn't precisely the right term . . . feedback. Far, far better than the three-month relegation to limbo elsewhere. Now, to find another target, and perhaps see if there's something that can be done to improve its chances of success. . . .
