In other news, I have Power to the People coming out of my ears, but work calls first.

Tonight: C12 Bid Shenanigans, graphic work for work due to short day tomorrow and looming deadlines
Tomorrow: Work, Electrical Inspection in the PM & more C12 Venue Wrangling, Maybe Gym in Evening, [livejournal.com profile] christyr1q's arrival
Saturday: Housework (possibly to include playing with a pressure washer, and definitely to include burying my shiny new sewer line) and The Castle
Sunday: No clue, but almost assuredly some WoW time

*Whoooooooosh!*

[aw, fuck, does this look like a to-do list? she's hawt and all, but i don't -wanna- turn into [livejournal.com profile] trystbat! ;-)]

i *totally* still study english literature!

oh, the irony of this particular strip. at my last contract, it was the tech writer (me) who had to fix computer problems for the engineers.

(they were physical/electrical/mechanical/etc. engineers, not systems or software ones, but still.)

Grocery lists, packing lists, to do lists...

Dominic actually laughs at me because I have notebooks in everything I own (car, purse, etc) just in case I need to make a list.

I'm pretty vehemently anti-list; when I do make them, it's usually important, deadline-ish stuff. I tend to be able to keep lists of objects and processes in my head well, it's lists of priority 'things to do' that usually end up scrawled on a post-it note and stuck to my monitor.

I live by lists. No list means I don't get anything done. I can keep stuff in my head, but I'm a more visual person so learning to actually write things down helps me make things flow better.

I'm a Lit major. Right now, I'm a disgruntled lit major. I can't wait til this semester is over. Hopefully, once I'm done reading for grades, I can learn to just enjoy reading again.

Now off to figure out 3 different critical interpretations of "My Last Dutchess" so that I can explain them to my Lit Theory class on Monday. Right after Coachella. When I'll probably have been driving for 6 hours so that I actually make it to class.

*sigh*

Cool - I can still come on Friday. Looks like I'll finish up the day early - so hope I can get dinner with you and K.

BTW - MBI (Boyfriend not Buddy) sent me the above....

Actually the tech writers I work with are VERY good. If they need help, it's because the engineer has $crewed something up! But I had to laugh at it!!!

Oh - can I do some laundry too??? Looks like I've got 36 hours at home between now and May 20. So every little bit helps!

CD arrived. You are a music mix god.

Wish I'd bothered to go to the last few C's so I could say hello. I've missed you!

Come to the next one. Or perhaps show up just for fun. I mean, we're just a hop, skip, and continent away. . . ;-)

The track list is fibbing - it's "Dirty Epic" by Underworld, not "Cowgirl" (mis-labeled the mp3, doh), and the HH remix is by Spacefrog.
