More and more, I like the administration less and less.

Though I do suddenly feel an urge to goose-step after shaving my head and growing a toothbrush moustache....

(nods) although the democrate alternative isn't any better - just a matter of control over different rights. Both parties are all about control, just different sides of the same coin.

There just isn't any available land out there to make a new seperate political country. Even if there was, there'd be a fight over what party to make it.

Alas, this is something I have suddenly felt more accutely than ever, following Bush's blasting of the Amnesty Report. He sounded just like every exaggerated, too-cliche-to-be-real evil dictator that's populated our comic-books, b-movies, and television programs for the past 40 years! We include those figures, ostensibly, as a constant reminder of Who-is-the-enemy? That we may recognize it when it rears its head.

Apparently not, however. On the upshot, fascisms are relatively short-lived (er... unless you include the Pax Romana). Hopefully, our collective descent into madness and evil will be brief.
