Something else I've learned, due to the hardware shenanigans...

Without changing anything, just removing my motherboard from the case, my CPU temp dropped 6-7 degrees (F) (120 to 113).  Clearly, the case is pretty well ventilated.

Two very near and dear locals (corpgoth/geekgoth types) are coming to Sarasota for ten days (17-27). I told them that if they wanted me to, or were interested in escaping club-ward, etc, that I could point them to locals who might be up for it. I was thinking of you or sil, but I know she is the uber busy right now, so I thought I'd ping you first. :-) Let me know and I'll forward your contact info on to them.
