In the fine tradition begun last year, I shall now speculate wildly, with incomplete, early information, about the track of the upcoming Cat 3 hurricane.

for the tampa/st. pete region, i'm calling for near-hurricane force winds out of the south for a couple of hours with a few higher gusts, and four to eight inches of rain.
Dennis will be downgraded to a Cat2 by the time it makes landfall, with winds in the vicinity of 100-105mph.
