In the fine tradition begun last year, I shall now speculate wildly, with incomplete, early information, about the track of the upcoming Cat 3 hurricane.

Let's see how close I call this one.

why? doesn't gainesville need wet?

for the tampa/st. pete region, i'm calling for near-hurricane force winds out of the south for a couple of hours with a few higher gusts, and four to eight inches of rain.

Dennis will be downgraded to a Cat2 by the time it makes landfall, with winds in the vicinity of 100-105mph.

F*ck that 'near-hurricane forecast winds' shit. We have WAY too much crap outside to dismantle before Denis visits. I'm praying for a drunken Denis to stumble westward after drinking too much Appleton in Jamaica.

Go visit Cancun, Denis.

PERFECT timing! heh.. My parents arrive tomorrow.. they laughed at me last year when soon after I moved we got bombed by 4 of those buggers.

Not that I am looking forward to a hurricane by any means, but it would be interesting to watch my parents reaction..
