Keith Olbermann, former SportsCenter host, occasional Salon.com columnist, and current MSNBC desk jockey, lays it straight, right on the air.

Preach on, Brother Keith.

Yeah, it'd been going around, but I hadn't had a chance to watch until last night. Apparently, it also wasn't the first time - over on Madelyn's journal, someone was saying that he's been saying similar things for the better part of a week.

It's time to demand media accountability as well as political - the fourth estate is failing in its duty to report honestly and completely the events of the day, much to the detriment of the citizens who are not only being misinformed by the party-line-spewing media, but the story of those who are being outright attacked by the purported "help" that is being grossly overlooked.

Reading [livejournal.com profile] uproar's re-post (http://www.livejournal.com/users/uproar/449837.html) of what some of the survivors went through makes Snake Plissken look like a fucking pussy.

I think that's a hell of a video. It puts my emotional state halfway between cheering for Olbermann and outraged indignation.

BTW, have you seen the new parlor game: (http://www.livejournal.com/users/david_deacon/143143.html) "Guess the Constitutional Violations"?

That's a beautiful piece. Finally...someone who's calling it like they see it and deservedly so.
