So, let's see. We have the third-strongest storm ever recorded in the Gulf. (How far inland is Crawford, incidentally?) Current track projections keep getting more and more like this.
One friend had some medical unpleasantness in the middle of the night. They're more or less ok, but going to see a specialist.
Bad juju is in the air at K's office.
My supervisor is out - car trouble this time. I plan on sowing the seeds of my not being around tomorrow once I've gotten the basics out of the way today.
The scale had bad news this morning. TBBC and "Hooray, Death!" while eminently enjoyable, do make it necessary for me to get my ass to the gym regularly. I want to be in the 160's by cruise time, and I'm now a croissant away from needing to drop ten pounds to get there.

And still getting closer to your prediction a day later. You should sell your services as a forecaster to some local news station, as a novelty, of course, so no one could blame you for anything, but people would be shocked and amazed at how often you're right. ;)
