I hope they throw him, Rove, Cheney, Abramoff, Gary Condit, and Rick Santorum into a Ninth Ward holding cell for a month while they let the political process happen, so that they can be eaten by rats.

These fucks have gotten to fat, too smug, and too much in love with The Big Lie to be tolerated by civilized citizens. The fact that he's still serving in Congress, and was merely made to step down from his leadership post, galls me to no end.

But there is light. It seems that the pernicious truth, that the GOP is populated with unrepentantly greedy shitmongers, who don't have the best interest of America foremost in their consciousness, is beginning to come from the mouths of more than just us rabid bloggers.

"The Republican leadership in Washington is now spending more time answering questions about ethical misconduct than doing the people's business," [Howard] Dean said.

Play it again, Howie.

And what about our buddy Frist with his seeing-eye trust? I'm just shocked that so far nobody has mentioned any allegations of wrongdoing on the part of the trustee of that "blind" trust. Seems to me like there must be a criminal violation in that somewhere.

This kind of fallout just has me a bit too exuberant :> It might be too soon to start dancing in the streets, but I'm getting my hopes up...at least a little, heh.

I'm actually glad you don't mention Bush here. I mean, how can you blame the puppet for what the arm makes it do?

well, he's stupid and incompetent, but i don't think he's personally engaging in the questionable moral and professional misconduct that so many repugnicans are.

You think? I think his (family) financial ties to the Saudis is the reason we stopped hunting for Bin Laden and went after Saddam instead. How corrupt can you be if you put your personal finances above the lives of thousands and billions of dollars of tax payer money. But, I still blame even that on those who are puppeting him (his Daddy included). He's just too ridiculously, blatantly idiotic for me to believe he's actually behind any real decision, corrupt or otherwise.
