But seriously, be nice to the poor bastard at the other end of the phone. They get paid like shit and put up with people demanding soul-killing levels of productivity while still coming across as the friendly and caring voice of The Company in 150 seconds or less.
I think I feel bad when some headset slave (I've been canvassed by just about every cancer, police, and firefighting charity in creation since registering my car) says "Thank you" just because I don't tell them off.
