Commute was gusty but thankfully under-populated. Current conditions are partial sun, low 60's, 15mph breeze. IOW: Perfect weather to play football.

In other news:
THEY HAVE ME MAKING SALES CALLS AT THE OFFICE, because more than half the staff didn't bother to come in.
Further,
analmuch didn't come to work this morning.
THE APOLCALYPSE HAS COME.

Besides O' master, you could use some phone experience. Maybe you understand what those "phone monkies" do now. :-)

if my untrained ass, using pen and paper and BOSS, can touch upwards of 125 outlets in six hours, someone whose regular job is to do that, combined with familiarity with the platforms, knowledge of the article codes, and a rapport with the customers, should have no trouble whatsoever getting to 25% more than that. I was doing OE in BOSS by the end of the day.
yes, i understand there are limits because you need to touch outlets three times on a regular day, but i've lost a lot of sympathy for ISRs who complain about their workload. i threw in from about ten to four, with a half hour lunch and a couple ten-minute breaks, and wasn't a whole hell of a lot less productive than some IRD minion.
