I have decided to pursue the new opportunity with critus' office, and have tendered my resignation from Big Red Can Cola Company, effective the end of the month.

Thank you for all the advice, on all sides of the issue. As I said to my boss, it was far from an easy decision, but I think that I've got more opportunities with the new gig. And, sometimes, you just need a change to shake things up.

(nods) I think that change is sometimes a hard thing to do when it comes to finances. (ie, I want to leave this job, but at least I know the asshatery that I'm dealing with now and can stomach it)
