Now that poor old Abe Lincoln is done turning in his grave....
I’ve honestly enjoyed working with everyone here at the CDC, and, other than suffering from fierce withdrawal symptoms for a certain product in a blue can, this has been one of the best offices I’ve ever been a part of. You've got a lot of great people and exciting things going on here.
I wish everyone well, and, as one final inducement to keep doing their Question of the Day, there’s a going-away present in Student Today for everyone to remember me by. ;^)
Four score and seven weeks ago, your Management brought into this Call Center a new Interactive Learning Department, in order to create a more complete Education, conceived in the QUEST Council, and dedicated to the proposition that all Agents should be trained interactively.
Now we are engaged in a great Training Program, testing whether any office so dedicated can excel. We have met in the Fishbowl, and the River Room, and the Haunted House, and have dedicated ourselves to the Question of the Day. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.
Much content, fresh and archived, has passed, giving its knowledge and wisdom to you. The world will little note, nor long remember, that which was taught here, but can never forget what those who taught and learned did here. It is for you, the CCE Employees, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who leave have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for you to be here dedicated to the great task remaining – that from the departing ILD weirdo to take increased devotion that cause for which they gave the last full measure of attention – that we here highly resolve that this departing freak shall not have coded in vain – that this Company shall have a new birth of learning – and that training of the agents, by the agents, and for the agents, shall not perish from the Office.
