I seem to have vectored some sort of throat ick that's just barely scritching mine, but has K feeling like butt. Compounding that is the fact that all of upper management is out of her office, and a hypochondriac megalomaniac is the only one in charge, and who has already made it clear she's going to fuck off early on Friday (after bailing early once or twice already this week).

C'mon, Lowry Park, Kimmah needs a new pair of workboots.

Going back to the gym/spin class after the best part of a week away = sleeping really, really hard. Or maybe it was the cask-conditioned Moose at TBBC, which was more than worth breaking my beer fast for.

In neater news, [livejournal.com profile] thewronghands shared this link to subtle urban art/graffiti (depending on your stance).

Planning on Castling tomorrow night.

Saturday looks full - chiro visit, sledgehammer party, J & M get various paperwork taken care of, then gaming at [livejournal.com profile] critus' place (I think).

Has she heard anything more about the interview here?
Date/Time: 2006-04-20 13:29 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] etcet.livejournal.com
She received a "No thanks" earlier this week after the phone interview a couple weeks back.

She's up to the "pee in a cup" portion of the process with the zoo here, though.

Well, obviously our zoo has little taste, then. But I've got my fingers crossed for the one out there. And I'm counting down to the end of may.

I don't think they would/could have thrown enough $$ at her to make a move tenable, in any event.

But, yeah, looking forward to the festivus.

that not withstanding, getting 24 hours of Kim would have made my week during finals.

let me know when you guys have discussed that sarasota pickup.

will do. actually, she went home sick today, so if you want to ping her on Yahoo, that would probably work.

I'm at work - no mssgr access. :-(

Much positive mojo for the kimmachu! (a shaka shake a on the stick!)

I'm also counting down the days til Memorial day :)

I've got a day for Disney - don't know if I'll use it that weekend or not. So eh, what are the plans for that weekend anywho?
Date/Time: 2006-04-20 15:02 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] etcet.livejournal.com
as best as i can figure, there's a high probability of sitting around, eating, drinking, socializing, and listening to music.

(touching fingertips together) Exxxcellent! Just my pace. Any chance of BBQing? I know we'd both like to bring (or make) a yummy something to contribute.

I'm sort of wibbling a park day as well, my friend [livejournal.com profile] jmoriarty and I were tossing the idea around about hitting the Tragic Kingdom as we've got days left on our park passes and I'm a theme park ho, but it depends on the mood we're in and what people want to do. I'm sort of turned off on the fact that it's Star Wars Weekend, that could be a big plus or a big minus depending on your viewpoint.

If you're going to head that way, we could be persuaded to join that away team, though. :)

Hmmmm - Star wars geekyness \m/. I'd be down with that. I've missed it in the past. I'm also interested in seeing Animal Kingdom's new attraction. I'm thinking that would be the least busy of all the parks.

I'll also talk with [livejournal.com profile] nener and [livejournal.com profile] bareflix and see if they want to go.

I'm pro/con on Star Wars Weekends. I like the geeks, hate the crowds, like the geeks, love the Jedi swag on sale in the parks, like that I can geek, hate that the geeks take over Millionaire Play It! 'cause I'm not highly confident with Star Wars trivia. Yes, I am a giant dork. ;)

I've never spent much time at AK. Everest is kinda ehhh for me, I have some back problems and have to be a bit picky about rides, coasters are usually a no-go. I could move into Epcot though. :)

let me know what you guys think- if it won't disrupt the weekend plans and we've got enough people to enjoy a side trip, I'd be interested.

Many good thoughts and prayers for a speedy job offer for the Kimachu (we *loves* the Kimachu, oh yes yes we does).

Sorry to hear of all the ick hon. Might it be allergies?

In any case, hope all else is going well on the homefront.

:::hugs:::
