Grading the weekend

Staying up until 1am to watch good hockey and Blow Shit Up with mighty_man both nights, albeit mediated by telephone: Excellent

Finding out that the yearling felines on our porch are parents, and that 2 of 3 month-old kittens are adorable and in good health nesting behind the garage (one didn't make it, we discovered all 3 yesterday): Good

Blowing a couple hundred bucks on home improvement shite (lattice & facing, rubber mulch, plans for add'l plants, a paint sprayer, and 3 ton jack): Fair

Waking up early only to find that the new spin class CD sucks mildewed rat testicles through a rusty colander: Poor

Getting something that strongly resembles poison ivy all over my arm and midriff while doing yardwork: Sucktastic

Beard Status: Playoff goatee

Telephone: Hmm...is there a way to do it online? Teamspeak or some such? I certainly have the speakers, I think I need a microphone.

Poison Ivy: Wash off with water ASAP. Use Soap (it's oil based). Follow with Ivarest and doses of Benadryl. Soak in Aveeno Oatmeal Bath and continue with Benadryl in evening, Claritin during the day.

I have a nice logitech usb headset/mic combo, and Critus runs a teamspeak server [of course, you have extra hardware, and could prolly do so], or most chat clients (g-chat, YM, etc) offer vox capability.

i've been keeping up with the claritin, and a single benadryl at night. need to get the ivarest stuff (probably on my way home this afternoon).
