In unrelated news, I've been to five different medical professionals this week for my 35,000 mile tuneup. Going to Taj for lunch, as it turns out that childhood neighbors will be in town and want to catch up with my folks before they all fly out this afternoon, and that's the one place they've been that we'll all enjoy. Haven't seen these people in 15 years or so (their kids, much like my siblings and I, are scattered to the four winds these days). The lunch forecast is for some early awkwardness with a strong chance of thumbnail life recaps later on. They asked for pix of aishlynn, so I'll be bringing this pic, which was taken by geekers @ C10.

My vacation will start sometime this afternoon. Or Else.

as far as i know, said plans are on a combination of sil's patio and mike's casa. we ain't goin' anywhere out of town this year due to vacationary restraints (and FiOS installation at GMBAN on black friday)
