Last night, I dreamed that mighty_man and I were on the Buffalo Sabres; what added versimilitude to that is the fact that he gave me no end of shit about celebrating an awful lot for scoring a goal to put us ahead 2-1 when the hard work on the play was done by Maxim Afinogenov, who took a lead pass from me along the right boards just outside the blue lone, streaked around behind the opposing goal, stepped around a defender, and fed a great pass to me in the low slot for a one-timer over the goalie's glove hand.

Nice pass, Max. :-)

Also, in the "well, that's one way to finance the holidays" department, I apparently have a first edition of Jonathan Littell's Bad Voltage, which is much sought by cyberpunk aficionados (having read it twice, I fail to see why). Amazon has used copies for . . . $125.00?!? Ooooookay then.

In other news, I really, really suck at the All-Pro level of Madden 2007.

I don't thnk I would have given you that much shit. I would imagine that I'd be playing defense and would have passed it from somewhere behind our blueline and picked up an assist on the play.
