Hodag

This word has been swirling around my head in the shower every morning for about a month. I finally got fed up enough with it (since I hadn't gotten around to writing a story about some weird critter called a hodag) to google for it....

... and it's a weird little fictional critter.

Why does my connection to images out of spiritus mundi spit out shit like this?

My brother used to teach up north in Rhinelander, WI. The mascot is the Hodag, and the city has a Hodag festival every year. :}
