Saliva's "Ladies and Gentlemen" with portions of Ray Stanz & Gozer's "Gozer the Gozerian" conversation from Ghostbusters have just formed an unholy alliance in my brain.
A small token of my appreciation if anyone can make this a reality.
My brain is, and always will be, your friend.

OK, I'll tell you. Classic Trek. The episode where some race comes and steals Spocks brain to regulate their systems by having one of their people go under some sort of "smart ray", and surgically remove Spocks brain and place it within their computer system. McCoy then has to also undergo the ray to make him smart enough to perform the reverse procedure, which does not last as long for him as it did for the native, as their biologies are different (and so, Spock himself has to walk McCoy through the rest of the procedure). The quoted line itself is when Kirk confronts the person who did the surgery. expecting some super-genius. What he gets is someone with about a 5 Y/O's understanding. The race had gone stagnant, relying completely on the technology of their past, and only becoming "smart" on those occasions of dire need.
One of *the* worst classic Trek episodes ***evar***, and yes... that is the level of my geekosity.
