if by 'light' you mean low calorie... well, guiness has fewer calories than budweiser, and german ales are often light in color and on the palate...

As an aside, every time I hear Laibach's version of "Geburt Einer Nation" (or see the video), I am not hearing the German he's saying. I am hearing "Get me ein Light Beer!" This is strangely godawful funny when combined with the Wagnerian sound/satire and the industrial posing.
