There really doesn't need to be a whole lot of riffing on that theme. It just bears repeating.

Chances are, within the last forty-eight hours, I have had dismissive, uncharitable, bitchy, or downright insensitive things cross my mind towards just about everyone, and in a lot of cases, stuff they care about deeply.

It isn't personal; I'm just a dick like that.

Cheer up, if you weren't being an asshole, someone else would have to do it. It's an aspect of the Law of Conservation of Misery. For every nice thing someone does, someone else has to be an asshole to balance it out. It's always a good idea to stick to what you're good at.
