... had a dream that we held Convergence on an Aircraft Carrier last night.

In the Persian Gulf.

In the middle of a very vigorous war.

The Meet & Greet was followed by a hellacious onslaught of kamizazi fighters. Why everyone was lined up along the edge of the deck (other than the fact that none of the incoming attackers got close - they were getting mowed down pretty heinously) to get into the club is kind of a mystery, as is why I was on shore, running for my life from the angry natives (with some unspecified female along with; it wasn't K, but there was no time for snogging whilst running and ducking and like that).... at least we were able to get vaulted up onto the carrier's deck with the help of some long poles wielded by some of the stronger PIBs.

Errrr... yeah.

I think Ian was enjoying using the flak cannons, to be honest....

While *I* would be down for C14 Gaza Strip, I'm guessing the other participants have an aversion to khaki.

For those with an aversion to khaki, we can still lure them in with the prospect of long black veils ;)

I'm just wondering, did the aircraft carrier have a large banner that said "Mission Accomplished" on it?

no, no.

this was actually in combat, and we know our hamster in chief is going to hide from that shit, given his stellar service in the air national guard.

*cough*

Hey, I bet it was *hard work* guarding the shores of Louisiana back then! You never know when a rogue dolphin might have reared it's shiny head ;)

In all seriousness, sorry to hear about your dream though ~ I have nightmares a lot, and know they can be rather stressful. I'm glad that somehow there was a sort of protective bubble that seemed to be keeping the people on the boat safe. Sounds like it was a doozy though!

On the bright side, after going through that ~ any C* drama should seem like total childsplay :)

Ah, stress dreams. starting a bit early aren't you?

Two weeks before C4 I had a dream that Toronto got flooded out. We ended up holding it in my backyard. The bands played on the roof of the garage and the guests floated around on air mattresses or waded in the waist-deep water with their velvets and fineries floating out behind them.

Before C8 I had a dream that one of the Montreal people quit the night of the event and I had to track her down and eat her face.

I imagine all my stress dreams will be hurricane related. Good to know we have Indiana designated as our 'secure remote location'.

HA!
