Can't Sleep, Will Turn to Cheezburger

Eating relatively healthfully should not, every so often, engender bizarre "you can't have that" dreams that result in my waking up, bathed in sweat, smelling like a rancid cheeseburger. Um, eww. Like a bag of X-13 Doritos and spit, left in the sun all weekend, even.

The mundane "can't" was eating a quart of chocolate ice cream for breakfast with one of those flat wooden faux spoons that used to be affixed to the top of the tiny servings one would get at the fair. There is, in fact, a quart of chocolate ice cream in my freezer; I normally make it last a half-dozen sittings and use a real spoon.

The less mundane "can't" was more of a "won't" - hanging out with yokes1971 and his wife, a very cute friend of hers with short brown hair really, really, really wanted a foursome. For some reason, none of us were willing to take her up on the offer despite her persuasive efforts to the contrary.




For being a pair of two-day work-weeks, this one is pretty comprehensively fired. It's alternated between being stupidly busy and "don't let the boss' boss' boss think you're fucking off too much," with no middle ground.



My high points this week were nookie, a guild first in World of Warcraft and a four-hour nap. MAN WHAT.

I'd say that was a plus. Dom says if I dont log onto WoW in the next month he's cancelling it. Lesseee I have been puking for 22 weeks, so it's been about that since I stopped playing.
