In an effort to perk up friends, a couple of the Good Things that flitted through my life today:
I qualify for a low-rate auto loan through my old credit union, effectively cutting the 8.5% APR the dealer was initially trying to stick me with down to 4.25%, same term length, with no penalty for early payoff, essentially saving me almost thirty bucks a month. Yay.
I found some cute cheesecake pictures of K I took a couple months ago, and one of them is now adorning my office desk in a funky metal frame my sister gave us for XMS.
I'm purging the incredibly random, never-listened to stuff from my CD collection, and moving the whole shebang into a new multimedia cabinet, that it just the right size for it, my VHS tapes (for which we don't actually have a player), the small DVD collection, and a handful of Xbox games (making our living room look much neater & more spacious - w000t!).
Cheap bordering on free to a good home (since eBay hates me, and the feeling is mutual):
First come, first served:
- Nihil : Drown
- Dalet-Yod : From the Hands of Lilith
- Voyager : Vibration Visitations for an Ambient Species
- Autour De Lucie : Chanson Sans Issue (remixe par)
- Twine : Reference
- Stone 588 : Door in the Dragon's Throat
- Motley Crue : Dr. Feelgood [the very first CD I ever bought - oh, the shame. . . ]

If you are really getting rid of it, I will take it!

Email me your postal addy, and we can finagle something. Or, if you'll be at C9, I can bring it along, wrapped in the blackest of black things, or something.
Re:
If you listen for the chicken in "Kickstart My Heart", it might just revive it for you.

Wow, I haven't had this much fun giving away music in terms of warm-fuzzies since changing a former coworker's life with a Stereolab cast-off. . .
