blue hair squicks the boss.

okay, granted, i'm still at the lovely "i dyed my hair last night, and my scalp is still stained, as are my fingertips" stage, but he's putting off a very confused vibe about it.

"so, you're leaving tomorrow?"
"no, next thursday. i'll be back in the following tuesday."
"you mean we have to put up with you with blue hair for a week?'
"yep."

so, either i'll be dying it black the day after getting back from convergence, or he'll mellow out and i'll keep it for a couple more weeks, but it'll be back to black for K's bro's wedding Memorial Day weekend.

this, friends and neighbors, is most probably the last hurrah after a decade of mostly-entertaining follicular amusement.

That's why I won't be doing my hair until Wednesday night, if I decide to put some plum streaks in (I've done it before... ten years ago).

There's one thing to which I can look forward wrt grad school, no doubt: The freedom to have whatever color hair I want. See, there's a reason to go back -- no office dress codes. :D

we're having guests this weekend, and i didn't want to potentially waste time with doing it while they're here, and wanted to give myself a chance to de-blue the ol' scalpitude before departure. thus. . .

Makes sense. I probably have more time on weeknights than weekends, currently -- I have plans from Friday evening through Sunday evening, work or otherwise. Plus, the not freaking out the management is a big thing with me. I'm too argumentative with them as it is, so... no pushing it. ;P
