So, turkey day was fine, if followed up by one and a half straight days of suck at the office, which rendered the "long weekend" something of a shambles.

To the rescue on Saturday afternoon/evening was an infestation by the Palm Beach contingent for lunch, followed by the womenfolk dispersing to Clearwater for some sort of lights-and-trees thing, with us boys staying at GMBAN and settling in for a prolonged beer-and-guitar hero session.

So, not particularly restful or holiday-ish around these parts, but there was some good to go with the bad.

Today has been a bag of snot-flavored ass at the office thus far, mitigated only slightly by the presence of a (smaller) year-end bonus in ye olde savings accounte.... which is being promptly thrown at credit card payments. :-P

Oh well.

It's really fucking Monday out there. Everyone watch your ass.
