Lyrics I Have Mis-Heard....

In the spirit of Kiss This Guy, and recently illuminated by Rock Band....

The Ramones, "Blitzkrieg Bop" - until two weeks ago, I thought the refrain was "Let's drink pop." Why I assumed The Ramones were singing about a straightedge mindset (even ironically) is beyond me.


Anyone? Anyone? Bueller....?

I had a friend who used to think that the Beatles "Paperback Writer" was "Take the back right turn".

I've had a slew of them myself, but none as funny as that, so not committed to the very scarce memory I still have left to me.

As an aside, once, on a trip someplace, I asked The Man(tm) "Do we take the next turn?", and The Spawn (c) heard "Dooky the Fishworm". All instances of misheard wordings are now, and forevermore, Dooky Moments (c) (tm). Or, we just say; "OK Dooky... sure, whatever you say" (c) (tm) (r).
