This, Romney said, he could not allow. And so he would be dropping out. "[I]f I fight on, in my campaign, all the way to the convention... I'd forestall the launch of a national campaign and, frankly, I'd make it easier for Senator Clinton or Obama to win. Frankly, in this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign be a part of aiding a surrender to terror," he said.
Finally, to shouts of "No!," Romney delivered the capper. "I entered this race because I love America," he said. "And because I love America, in this time of war, I feel I have to now stand aside for our party and for our country."
That's right - speaking before the biggest bunch of conservative assholes in the country, Ol' Mitty is already pre-emptively blaming the failure or George W. Motherfucking Bush's "War on Terror" on the Democrats and liberals, who haven't even been elected.

And when your asshat PR monkeys call you "all-American," you might want to remind them that you're the son of Mexican immigrants, whose grandparents fled America because of persecution of their beliefs (and their unwillingess to give up polygamy).
