it's been a weird kind of week-plus - everyone's been more annoyed, insecure, and just plain cranky than we were a few weeks ago. it's all the little things being more bothersome than they normally would be, and persisting longer than they ought to, and it all feeds off of the negative ions spun off the friends we care about, and feel ineffectual to help, thus making us feel even more annoyed because of that, ad infinitum.
time to make a clean break indeed. snap off the dead twigs and let the new growth get some air.
