Despite significant logistical issues of the "annoying" nature seeming to plague the couple-to-be and several guests at every turn (we think we got all the bad ju-ju out of the way ahead of time so they can have about sixty years of bliss)... the wedding and reception themselves were lovely.
Seeing friends, old and new, is always a pleasure, and I'm looking forward to catching a bunch of these folks again on my side of the continent at C14. Folks with handles, literally from A to Z, including a couple people I'd known for years but hadn't yet met -- all present to share in the festivities and send the happy couple off in style.
On the less-pleasurable side was the highly-abbreviated nature of the visit, and coming home to a seriously, deeply, get-your-ass-to-a-health-care-professionalaishlynn. Having done so, the verdict is "bronchial infection," to be fought with some serious drugs. With tirani coming to visit this weekend (along with the usual Florida Spooky Types), we're hoping that this will get her back up to speed, and that my innate stubborn streak keeps those annoying microbes out of my bronchial plumbing.
