I just had a member on my line. They were looking for death benefits. I managed not to make a joke about causing it.
What I *did* say: "I'm sorry, we're really, really good here at the help desk, but I'm not sure there's anything I can do for your father."
So, I kicked ass, hooked them up with someone who can actually help them, and will now try and figure out who the hell transferred them to me.
ginnyland: and good for you for A) not making the joke B) getting them the person who could! lol and BOOO to the person who transferred them to you.
etcet: Uh, that -is- what I said. The horrible joke would have been much, much worse.
