I have the strong suspicion that [livejournal.com profile] tlama and [livejournal.com profile] johnrj are, if not bots, than seriously dummy accounts, since they were both created about fifteen minutes ago.

Or maybe some random 42 year old from Idaho and a 61 year old from parts unknown just find my political wank irresistible.

Well, at least JohnBot put up a post.

maybe they watch the new posts on LJ for mccain or obama and then make their post.

Ya know, that happened to me, too, when I put up political posts. Were they selling something? As I recall they were just wanking in a strange way. Huh. Is this part of that new-fangled viral political campaigning I've been hearing so much about? interesting...

I'm hoping they are bots because the one for McCain/Palin is a moron otherwise. (And I'd note I'm not talking stances, I'm talking utter and complete disregard for the English language.)

an IP trace reveals that the McCain supporter is posting from North Carolina State University (interestingly, apparently from a machine with "llama" in the name); the Obama one from an unspecified SBC IP in western Texas or environs nearby.

Heh, we have an NCSU student on staff in network, and he has an excellent writing style. I'm sticking with my original statement here.

The llama thing is pretty funny, though.

I think it means you're now being monitored and are on the "no fly" list. Just kidding... I think....
