i apparently mis-grokked the scene where smith invades the dude with the goatee - i thought it was a neo dream sequence, not a "real" event. odd.

Agreed on the lack of heavyset Zion tenants, but remember the icky oatmeal-esque sludge they were eating, at least on the ships? There's no freakin' way you could manage to have a weight problem chowing down on that crap. They did seem to have some fruit and fresh foods in Zion, based on the plethora and variety of gifts that were left outside Neo's love shack, but I'm guessing again that you probably can't manage to get too beefy on that simple a diet.

However, I'm with you on the need to issue every resident of Zion a big stick of Right Guard, especially after the "rave" scene.

And I'm also confused about how everyone usually walks around in rags, and yet suddenly at the rave, everyone's wearing shiny transparent clean clothing. Did Zion suffer a collision with the eveningwear clearance rack at Daffy's?
